It’s a white icon with black music logo by default, and in dark mode it’s black with a white logo.

Alongside this change, the Music app in iOS 27.2 now uses blue in the tab bar for the currently active tab—a stark shift from the previous red/pink branding. Widgets for the Music app similarly now use simple black backgrounds instead of the iconic red/pink.

Additionally, in your Library, the list of different sections like Playlists, Albums, Artists, and Songs have all had color removed in favor of a black-and-white design.

What do you think of the Apple Music design updates in iOS 27.2?
