The facility was inaugurated on Tuesday, October 13th, and is expected to enhance regional internet connectivity by enabling internet service providers to exchange network traffic locally instead of relying on internet routes through major cities.

According to a report by antaranews, the facility would allow internet service providers to connect their networks closer to users, potentially reducing data transmission times and improving connection stability.

Syamsul Arifin, President Director, TSN, said, “With a data center in Lamongan, access does not always need to go through Jakarta or Surabaya first.
