Aaron Paul remembered his \u201cBreaking Bad\u201d co-star RJ Mitte as an \u201cinspiration\u201d as he recalled the last time they saw each other. <\/p>\n
\u201cThe last time we saw each other I kept calling you Superman,\u201d Paul, 47, captioned an upload<\/a> of Mitte speaking out about mental help in a throwback video, adding, \u201cYou reminded me of him.\u201d <\/p>\n Paul continued, \u201cYou reminded me of him because you always led with kindness and strength. It was blinding.\u201d <\/p>\n The \u201cEl Camino\u201d actor went on, noting that Mitte \u2014 who had cerebral palsy<\/a> \u2014 was \u201cborn into a world with challenges\u201d but \u201cnever let any of that stand in [his] way.\u201d<\/p>\n Aaron Paul, pictured above with RJ Mitte in 2010, recalled the last time he saw his co-star before his death. Instagram\/@aaronpaul<\/p>\n \u201cWhat an absolute tragic loss,\u201d the \u201cBojack Horseman\u201d actor lamented in part. \u201cI loved your laugh and how much fun you had riding the wave we were all blessed to be on with Breaking Bad.\u201d <\/p>\n Paul concluded in the emotional post that he hoped \u201cwhoever is reading this note that feels lost or sad or uncertain about the future\u201d would \u201cplease say something.\u201d <\/p>\n \u201cLife is so damn special,\u201d he wrote, adding, \u201cConnect with someone you care about and say I love you. Paul \u2014 who played Jesse Pinkman on the beloved series \u2014 previously wrote in a statement <\/a>obtained by the Hollywood Reporter that he was \u201cat a loss\u201d following Mitte\u2019s death on Monday. <\/p>\n \u201cThe last time we saw each other I kept calling you Superman,\u201d Paul, seen above with Mitte in 2012, wrote. Always remember that.\u201d<\/p>\n Bryan Cranston, who played Walter White opposite his onscreen son Walter Jr., played by Mitte, wrote via Instagram that he was in \u201cdespair\u201d over the loss of Mitte at the age of 34, and that he \u201cloved him, and thoroughly enjoyed being with him throughout the years on the series.\u201d<\/p>\n A rep confirmed the actor\u2019s death<\/a> to Page Six in a statement.<\/p>\n Paul, pictured with Mitte and the cast of \u201cBreaking Bad\u201d in 2013, previously said in a statement that he was \u201cat a loss\u201d after Mitte\u2019s death. AP Photo\/Chris Pizzello<\/p>\n \u201cRJ was a beloved member of our community, and his passing has left us shocked and heartbroken,\u201d Cameron County Justice of the Peace Judge, Cyndi Hinojosa previously told Page Six, noting that his family has \u201cdeep roots\u201d there.<\/p>\n \u201cIn recent years, RJ built on those connections, becoming actively involved with local residents and the arts community and helping open a cultural museum,\u201d Hinojosa continued. \u201cHe meant so much to this community, and his loss will be deeply felt.\u201d<\/p>\n His reps confirmed to Page Six on Tuesday that Mitte died by suicide<\/a>.
