The Atlanta-based airline<\/a> announced Wednesday that its revamped Delta One experience will begin rolling out on transoceanic flights departing Los Angeles International Airport this fall before expanding across its global network in early 2027.<\/p>\n The overhaul includes a redesigned menu<\/a>, expanded meal pre-selection, new cocktails and wines and upgraded amenity kits, among other changes.<\/p>\n “Every investment we make is deliberate and designed to deliver the industry\u2019s most premium end-to-end travel experience,” Delta Chief Marketing and Product Officer Ranjan Goswami said in a statement.\u00a0<\/p>\n UNITED REPORTEDLY APPROACHED DELTA AIR LINES ABOUT A POTENTIAL MERGER<\/a><\/p>\n The overhaul includes a redesigned menu, expanded meal pre-selection, new cocktails and wines and upgraded amenity kits. (Delta Air Lines)<\/p>\n “This elevated dining and hospitality experience reflects our relentless focus on raising the bar while giving customers greater control throughout their journey,” Goswami added.<\/p>\n The new menu includes a Delta One wagyu beef burger, roasted sea bass, braised lamb and beef short rib, along with upgraded desserts.\u00a0<\/p>\n One new option is a dairy-free sorbet that travelers can opt to pair with Champagne Taittinger.<\/p>\n Delta is also expanding its meal pre-selection options and allowing its passengers to order an entr\u00e9e up to 18 hours before departure, six hours closer to departure than previously allowed.<\/p>\n Passengers who want more sleep on long-haul flights will have the option to skip the morning meal service and instead request a coffee and croissant before landing.<\/p>\n DELTA CEO ED BASTIAN REVEALS WHAT HE SAYS MUST HAPPEN FOR AIRLINE TICKET PRICES TO FALL<\/a><\/p>\n Delta is expanding its meal pre-selection options. <\/p>\n The airline is also upgrading its Delta One beverage lineup.<\/p>\n Blanton’s single-barrel bourbon will be added Dec. 1, while Delta’s revamped wine program features 13 wines from 11 wineries. The lineup includes Silver Oak wines, which Delta says can retail for more than $200 per bottle.<\/p>\n Delta is also adding alcoholic and non-alcoholic versions of the Hugo Spritz and Paloma beginning in 2027. Dassai 45 sake will be offered on flights to and from Tokyo-Haneda<\/a> beginning Nov. 3.<\/p>\n The changes extend beyond food and drinks.<\/p>\n Delta is introducing new Missoni amenity kits beginning Nov. 3, featuring Grown Alchemist skincare, a Marvis dental kit and Missoni-branded items.
