{"id":883078,"date":"2026-10-15T10:54:33","date_gmt":"2026-10-15T10:54:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/883078\/"},"modified":"2026-10-15T10:54:33","modified_gmt":"2026-10-15T10:54:33","slug":"open-seats-on-tuolumne-county-board-of-education","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/883078\/","title":{"rendered":"Open Seats On Tuolumne County Board of Education"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sonora, CA \u2014 Due to a lack of interest in open seats on the Tuolumne County Board of Education this election cycle, the Tuolumne County Superintendent of Schools is accepting applications for Trustee Areas 1, 4, 6 and 7.<\/p>\n<p>There are seven seats on the Board of Trustees, and they are specific to geographic regions.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tcsos.us\/about\/board\/meet-the-board\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Click here to view<\/a> the current board members and the areas the open seats cover (1, 4, 6 and 7).<\/p>\n<p>The application deadline is Friday, October 30, at 4 pm. Interest forms can be submitted via email to swellman@tcsos.us or delivered to the TCSOS office at 175 Fairview Ln.<\/p>\n<p>Candidates selected for consideration should be prepared to interview at the Board meeting on November 2 at 4:00 PM.
