{"id":883224,"date":"2026-10-15T13:50:29","date_gmt":"2026-10-15T13:50:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/883224\/"},"modified":"2026-10-15T13:50:29","modified_gmt":"2026-10-15T13:50:29","slug":"london-tv-screenings-unveils-2027-edition-with-banijay-itv-fremantle","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/883224\/","title":{"rendered":"London TV Screenings Unveils 2027 Edition With Banijay, ITV, Fremantle"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tThe first <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/london-tv-screenings\/\" id=\"auto-tag_london-tv-screenings\" data-tag=\"london-tv-screenings\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">London TV Screenings<\/a> to feature the newly-merged <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/banijay\/\" id=\"auto-tag_banijay\" data-tag=\"banijay\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Banijay<\/a>-All3Media sales arm has unveiled its schedule.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tThere is one less founding organizer of the screenings now that Big Brother seller Banijay and The Traitors owner All3Media have become one, and the new group will bring its 265,000-hour catalog to the UK capital on Wednesday February 24. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tThe screenings founders are now the trio of Banijay, <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/freemantle\/\" id=\"auto-tag_freemantle\" data-tag=\"freemantle\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Fremantle<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/tag\/itv-studios\/\" id=\"auto-tag_itv-studios\" data-tag=\"itv-studios\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">ITV Studios<\/a>. Banijay\u2019s event will take place on the same day as ITV Studios at BAFTA Piccadilly and the Odeon Luxe Leicester Square respectively. Fremantle\u2019s is the following day at the Odeon. ITV Studios\u2019 event could come around the time it becomes independent of broadcaster ITV, which is being bought by Sky and currently making its way through regulatory quagmire.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tThe trio have unveiled schedule at the same time as a number of other distribs including Studiocanal, which has a scripted event then cocktail party on Sunday February 21, the first day of the screenings.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tOthers to have set dates include Sony, Mediawan Rights, Beta Film and Keshet International.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tA London TV Screenings spokesperson said: \u201cThe London TV Screenings has become a key fixture in the international content calendar, bringing together buyers and distributors from across the industry for a week of discovery, conversation and deal-making. Following our strongest year to date, we\u2019re looking forward to welcoming the global content community back to London in 2027. We\u2019ve seen continuous growth every year since the Screenings\u2019 inception, demonstrating buyer appetite for this moment in the annual content calendar, and underlining the UK\u2019s continuing role as a hub for international distribution.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tThe screenings run concurrent with the BBC Studios Showcase in London but no longer with MIP London, which is ending as <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2026\/09\/mip-london-over-mip-talks-launching-at-london-book-fair-1237110657\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">MIP instead launches<\/a> a London Book Fair event a few weeks later.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The first London TV Screenings to feature the newly-merged Banijay-All3Media sales arm has unveiled its schedule.
