Roundabout Theatre Company<\/a> has postponed its Broadway revival of The Full Monty.<\/p>\n

David Yazbek<\/a> and Terrence McNally<\/a>‘s The Full Monty was scheduled to\u00a0return to Broadway at the Haimes Theatre in the spring. The production has now been postponed indefinitely due to cast availability. “More information on production timing will be announced at a later date,” reads a press note.<\/p>\n

Instead,\u00a0Rhinoceros<\/a> by Eug\u00e8ne Ionesco<\/a> will replace it in Roundabout’s season.\u00a0Previews will begin April 7, 2027 with the official opening night set for April 25. The limited engagement will continue through June 13.<\/p>\n

The production will come to Broadway after bowing at Massachusetts’ American Repertory Theater<\/a>, with Artistic Director Diane Paulus<\/a> back at the helm (read reviews here<\/a>). Tatiana Maslany<\/a> and John Turturro<\/a> will reprise their performances as Daisy and B\u00e9renger, respecitvely, newly joined for the Broadway bow by Tony winner Tony Shalhoub<\/a> as Jean. Further casting is to be announced.<\/p>\n

In Rhinoceros, everything seems normal one Sunday morning, until it\u2019s not. One by one, friends and colleagues transform into rhinoceroses, and B\u00e9renger is forced to decide: will he follow the crowd or stand his ground?<\/p>\n

The production will feature\u00a0scenic design by Riccardo Hern\u00e1ndez<\/a>, costume design by Anita Yavich<\/a>, lighting design by Jen Schriever<\/a>, sound design by Fitz Patton<\/a>, special effect design by Markus Maurette<\/a>, hair and wig design by Tom Watson<\/a>, make-up design by Kyle Krueger<\/a>, fight direction by Thomas Schall<\/a>, and movement by Jill Johnson<\/a>.<\/p>\n
