The Eagles offensive line has undergone significant changes since the 2025 iteration, from coaches to starters, things look entirely different for the group heading into Week 6 of the 2026 season.<\/p>\n
While many of the moves were out of the Eagles control, including injuries and Lane Johnson\u2019s retirement<\/a>, the move that spoke the loudest was the team trading Cam Jurgens to the Ravens<\/a>. All that uncertainty has bled into the discussion about Landon Dickerson\u2019s future in Philly as the All Pro left guard prepares to return from IR.<\/p>\n Dickerson was put on IR after a disappointing Week 1 performance<\/a>, which prompted the team to move Jurgens over to left guard rather than put someone else at the position. Several weeks after the decision to move their center, Dickerson admitted on his 94WIP show that it wasn\u2019t fair to ask Jurgens to move over to a new position and expect him to perform at a high level.<\/p>\n Jurgens was on his way out of Philly just a few weeks later, and the starting o-line for Week 5 was Markell Bell (rookie), Tyler Steen, Jake Majors (backup for Drew Kendall, who took over at center when Jurgens was moved to LG), Willie Lampkin, and Jordan Mailata. Eagles GM Howie Roseman said that they saw enough from Kendall<\/a> in his two games to feel comfortable moving forward with him at center and trade Jurgens.<\/p>\n Now that Dickerson is returning from IR<\/a>, head coach Nick Sirianni is being a little non-committal about whether the Pro Bowl LG will get back in the starting lineup.<\/p>\n SIRIANNI: \u201cThere\u2019s just so much time before we have to make any of these decisions. I\u2019m not going to discuss too much of that, but we love Landon [Dickerson]. I know that. He\u2019s won a lot of football games here because where he\u2019s been. The guys that are in right now are doing a good job and fighting their butts off, but Landon\u2019s a special player, and we\u2019ll see where we are.\u201d<\/p>\n This answer didn\u2019t appear to be Sirianni\u2019s typical competitive advantage answer, it seemed like one he didn\u2019t want to address because it\u2019s not a certainty they give the job back to Dickerson. With so many new faces, and a list of injuries on offense<\/a> that makes sustained success a challenge, the team might opt to look toward the future and get their young lineman more reps.<\/p>\n Dickerson was asked on Wednesday after practice whether the team still views him as the long-term left guard, his answer wasn\u2019t filled with confidence.<\/p>\n DICKERSON: \u201cThat\u2019s a great question.
