Des Moines Public Schools issued a two-hour delay Friday morning following a large scale phone and internet service outage.<\/p>\n
The following schools are impacted:<\/p>\n
Capitol View Elementary Edmunds ElementaryGreenwood ElementaryHarding Middle SchoolHanawalt ElementaryHillis ElementaryHoover High SchoolHubbell ElementaryMadison ElementaryMeredith Middle SchoolMerrill Middle SchoolOak Park ElementaryPerkins ElementaryPhillips Elementary Pleasant Hill ElementaryWindsor Elementary <\/p>\n
In an email, a Des Moines Public Schools spokesperson says Metronet has reported a large-scale outage impacting phone service, internet and security at these buildings.<\/p>\n
Classes will begin two hours late. Transportation will be delayed by two hours. Breakfast and lunch will still be served. School will dismiss at normal time.<\/p>\n
