(WOWT) -Omaha police are investigating a shooting that happened early Sunday morning.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Police were called to 42nd and Ames just after 3 a.m.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Officers said the person found at the scene did not have a gunshot wound but had a cut on their cheek. The car they were in had shattered glass and bullet holes.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Police believe someone in another car fired at them. That person then pulled into an NP Mart gas station and called 911.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Police think the shooting took place a few blocks away near Pinkney street.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Police said the victim was taken to the hospital for a blood pressure issue, not an underlying injury.
