\n\tWhile Saturday Night Live<\/a> was off this weekend, its British counterpart pulled no punches in criticizing last week\u2019s episode of the U.S. sketch comedy show.<\/p>\n

\n\tOn Satuday, SNL UK\u2018s \u201cWeekend Update<\/a>\u201d co-host Ania Magliano<\/a> ended the segment with a joke about Shane Gillis<\/a>, following his complaint during last weekend\u2019s SNL opening monologue<\/a> that \u201cwomen just dress like whores now\u201d at the gym.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cA ride operator at Munich Oktoberfest was praised for giving out free cycling shorts to female riders. Wearing the gym shorts will protect women from being up-skirted, but it does make them vulnerable to something much worse,\u201d said Magliano as a still of Gillis\u2019 monologue appeared next to her.<\/p>\n

\n\tWith the audience already erupting in laughter, Magliano dug in her heels, poking fun at the United States\u2019 strict broadcasting rules after Gillis accidentally dropped the F-bomb<\/a> during a sketch.<\/p>\n

\n\tMagliano continued, \u201cLast week on SNL, comedian Shane Gillis also caused controversy by dropping the F-bomb. Oh Shane, you\u2019re not allowed to say that, you stupid fucking cunt.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAlthough Gillis quickly apologized for the expletive<\/a>, he\u2019s yet to respond to the ongoing backlash from fellow comedians and fans alike over his monologue, especially in the wake of an alleged gang rape<\/a> by fraternity members known as the Cornell 7.<\/p>\n

\n\tGillis\u2019 latest hosting gig on SNL comes after he hosted in 2024<\/a> and 2025<\/a>, following his removal from the NBC sketch comedy<\/a>\u2018s featured cast days after he was announced<\/a> in 2019.
