A 10 a.m. shotgun start kicks off the tournament, followed by on-course challenges, food, drinks and a post-tournament dinner.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The 3630 Foundation was created last year in memory of retired LVMPD Officer Rich \u201cSchmitty\u201d Schmitt, who died by suicide in 2022 after struggling with life after retirement.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The foundation recently donated $75,000 to LVMPD for the Rich Schmitt P#3630 Wellness Space, designed to give officers a place to seek support throughout their careers and into retirement.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Event organizers, including foundation president Tom \u201cWags\u201d Wagner and Schmitt\u2019s wife, MJ Maynard-Carey, said the goal is to make sure officers have help long after they leave the force.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2026 KVVU.
