{"id":889248,"date":"2026-10-20T20:52:16","date_gmt":"2026-10-20T20:52:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/889248\/"},"modified":"2026-10-20T20:52:16","modified_gmt":"2026-10-20T20:52:16","slug":"im-authentic-and-im-full-of-heart-meet-meagan-lewis-michaelson-one-of-the-finalists-for-the-voice-of-logan-boston-news-weather-sports","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/889248\/","title":{"rendered":"\u2018I\u2019m authentic and I\u2019m full of heart\u2019: Meet Meagan Lewis-Michaelson, one of the finalists for \u2018The Voice of Logan\u2019 &#8211; Boston News, Weather, Sports"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">BOSTON (WHDH) &#8211; Meagan Lewis-Michaelson thinks she has what it takes to be the next voice of Logan Airport. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lewis-Michaelson was one of over 5,200 people who auditioned to be the <a href=\"https:\/\/whdh.com\/news\/finalists-audition-for-voice-of-logan-on-monday\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Voice of Logan<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On Monday, that was narrowed down to eight finalists.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cInexplicable pride to be the voice of Boston the city that means so much to me and my family,\u201d Lewis-Michaelson said. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lewis-Michaelson is known for her voice. She\u2019s a musical theater performer and a professor at the Berklee College of Music. She says she has the chops to make her city proud.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI\u2019m authentic, and I\u2019m full of heart, and ultimately that, that\u2019s what Boston\u2019s about,\u201d Lewis-Michaelson said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Raised in Everett, Lewis-Michaelson knows a thing or two about life in New England. Things like iced coffee being the best, even in the winter!<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Boston sports pride runs in her family. Lewis-Michaelson has carried around a stuffed Larry Bird toy, known as her \u201cLucky Larry.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI just keep picturing my Grampy, who was an Usher at Fenway Park,\u201d Lewis-Michaelson said. \u201cI never got to meet him, but I have a picture of him in my living room. I think of him, and it gets me choked up because that\u2019s the heart of Boston.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So, the next time you fly through Logan, it might be Meagan welcoming you home. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Voting for the eventual winner will take place <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voiceoflogan.com\/TooLate\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">online<\/a> starting October 24. <\/p>\n<p>(Copyright (c) 2026 Sunbeam Television.
