Michelson, M.D.\u2019s license without notice on Oct. 14, saying his continued practice poses a continuing threat to public welfare. <\/p>\n<p>The suspension took effect immediately and will remain in place until the board takes further action.<\/p>\n<p>The panel\u2019s decision followed Michelson\u2019s arrest on a felony charge of indecent assault by a health care service provider, according to the board.<\/p>\n<p>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/kfoxtv.com\/news\/local\/umc-el-paso-suspends-contracted-doctor-amid-indecent-assault-investigation?src=link\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">El Paso doctor accused of indecent assault of patient at UMC, affidavit say<\/a><\/p>\n<p>A temporary suspension hearing with notice is expected to be held as soon as practicable.
