But a YouTube spokesperson, in a Wednesday statement to The Verge, confirmed that YouTube is \u201cnot testing hiding the dislike button on YouTube for users.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1044qizi _18mzr4b1 _18mzr4b0 _19wv7tc1\">However, YouTube is introducing a new UI for creators on their uploaded videos where the dislike button will be moved.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1044qizi _18mzr4b1 _18mzr4b0 _19wv7tc1\">Here\u2019s the full statement, from spokesperson Kimberly Taylor:<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup _1lkuyz89 _1lkuyz88 _19wv7tc1\">We are not testing hiding the dislike button on YouTube for users. We\u2019re introducing a new UI for creators on their own uploaded videos, where dislike is behind the three-dot menu, and as always, they can find their full dislike counts in Studio, alongside other analytics.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1044qizi _18mzr4b1 _18mzr4b0 _19wv7tc1\">The new UI is rolling out to creators in \u201cthe coming weeks,\u201d Taylor says.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1044qizi _18mzr4b1 _18mzr4b0 _19wv7tc1\">The change for creators follows past adjustments to the dislike button on the platform.
