He said the call-up is the reason why the Griffins signed former Michigan Tech and minor league goalie Jamie Phillips, 33, to a PTO to be their backup goalie against the Moose.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Postava is joining the Red Wings before tonight\u2019s game in Vancouver.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Postava, 24, signed out the Czech league after the 2025-26 season, was a dominant AHL performer last season (17-6, 1.71 GAA) and started this season with a 4-0 record, 1.25 goals-against average and .954 save percentage.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before signing with the Red Wings, he took his Brno Kometa team in a Czech League championship.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Postava\u2019s development was a reason why the Red Wings were comfortable dealing 2021 first round pick <a href=\"https:\/\/detroithockeynow.com\/tag\/sebastian-cossa\/\" class=\"pb-player-link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Sebastian Cossa<\/a> to Utah Mammoth.
