\n\tColourPop<\/a> is making makeup suitable for the swamp. <\/p>\n

\n\tIn a new limited-edition collection inspired by the DreamWorks film franchise, \u201cShrek,\u201d the drugstore beauty brand<\/a> bottled the fairy-tale ogre\u2019s moody personality and verdant home into earth-toned products, from lip gloss to eye shadow, with prices starting at $10. The themed line, out Aug. 21, is another beauty<\/a> iteration to come amid the burgeoning early 2000s nostalgia<\/a> pervading the internet recently.<\/p>\n

\t\t\t\t\tColourPop\u2019s new DreamWorks Shrek Glossy Lip collection.<\/p>\n

\n\tVivian Weng, brand president of ColourPop, told WWD the collection was designed to intentionally tap into this longing felt by both Gen Z and Millennials through tangible offerings. <\/p>\n

\n\tConsumers, ColourPop assured, will be catapulted back to their childhood just by reading the product names: Beware Ogre Eyeshadow Palette, Noble Steed Glossy Lip, Gumdrop Button Lip Oil, Ogres are Like Onions Body Glitter Gel and True Love\u2019s Form Instant Crush Lip and Cheek Balm.<\/p>\n

\n\tWeng noted the formula of each product is the same as what\u2019s used to create ColourPop\u2019s fan-favorite items, but the packaging is what makes these makeup essentials unique to the Shrek franchise. Each bottle is branded with an ear-horned \u201cS\u201d and secured with a neon green top. <\/p>\n

\t\t\t\t\tThe collection also features character-specific products, including Gingy Candy Lip Oil. <\/p>\n

\n\tCharacters such as Fiona, Donkey, Lord Farquaad, and of course, Shrek also appear on the side of the Ultra Glossy Lip shades. Fiona\u2019s, named \u201cOgress,\u201d boasts a warm taupe hue with a pi\u00f1a colada flavor, while Lord Farquaad\u2019s leaves a rich berry finish and a blueberry muffin aftertaste.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe decision to bring the heritage of Shrek to the beauty<\/a> mecca was a no-brainer for Weng and the ColourPop team. <\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cWith a recent revival on social media and a new wave of meme-worthy moments, Shrek is once again taking over our feeds,\u201d Wend said. \u201cAs an internet icon and beloved DreamWorks classic, Shrek has a loyal fandom that spans generations, just like the ColourPop audience. This limited-edition collaboration lets fans celebrate the humor, heart and bold personality of the franchise through our fan-favorite formulas.\u201d<\/p>\n

\t\t\t\t\tThe Beware Ogre Eyeshadow Palette plays up the earth tones of Shrek\u2019s swamp with various shades of green, gold, brown and burgundy. <\/p>\n

\n\tInterested customers will also be able to shop specialized bundles, including the full Shrek Collection for $115, the Totally Swamped Set \u2014 four shades of the Ultra Glossy Lips \u2014 for $36 and the Shrek-spress Yourself \u2014 Beware Ogre Eyeshadow Palette and the Gingy-inspired Candy Lip Oil \u2014 for $32. <\/p>\n
