Brandi Glanville is preparing to have her \u201cface taken off\u201d this week amid her ongoing battle with facial disfigurement.<\/p>\n
The \u201cReal Housewives of Beverly Hills\u201d alum revealed the \u201cgreat news\u201d on Thursday\u2019s episode of her \u201cBrandi Glanville Unfiltered\u201d podcast<\/a>, saying she will undergo the drastic procedure Friday.<\/p>\n \u201cDr. Carlo Henrado is taking my face off on Friday and going to do an exploratory surgery to kind of do a power wash under my skin,\u201d Glanville, 53, told her co-host, James Maas.<\/p>\n She said the doctor had identified two distinct spots beneath her skin that he believes could be either \u201cfungal balls or something alive.\u201d<\/p>\n Brandi Glanville, pictured above in a social media upload, said she\u2019s going to have her \u201cface taken off\u201d this week. Brandi Glanville<\/p>\n She said during her self-titled podcast that she\u2019ll be getting an \u201cexploratory surgery\u201d amid her battle with facial disfigurement. X\/BrandiGlanville<\/p>\n \u201cI think it\u2019s alive, personally, because it moves when it wants,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n Glanville went on to explain that Henrado came \u201chighly recommended\u201d and agreed to perform the procedure for whatever amount insurance would cover, plus an additional $5,000.<\/p>\n \u201cBut I\u2019m OK with that. He\u2019s like, \u2018If I can cut the head off the beast, the snake, then the other stuff we\u2019ll be able to get,\u201d she continued.<\/p>\n The former model admitted that she\u2019s \u201csuper excited\u201d but also \u201cscared to death,\u201d as she\u2019s \u201cnever had facial surgery.\u201d<\/p>\n She noted that a woman she knows recently underwent a facelift, but said her own procedure is different and \u201cmore intensive,\u201d according to her doctor.<\/p>\n Glanville, seen above in 2019, said the surgeon would be doing a \u201cpower wash\u201d under her skin. And then he\u2019s spinning my blood and doing this platelet thing on the inside of my face,\u201d Glanville explained before joking, \u201cWe might not want my blood at this point.\u201d<\/p>\n Last month, Glanville revealed she had been diagnosed with multiple conditions<\/a> after years of unexplained health issues, including \u201chighly resistant ESBL Klebsiella and Enterobacter with biofilm, Coccidioidomycosis (Valley fever), Demodex dermatitis and mononucleosis.\u201d<\/p>\n She also previously disclosed that she had a fungal ball in her face that she was preparing to have surgically removed.<\/p>\n The reality TV star shared footage of an ultrasound on Instagram in early September, claiming her doctors \u201csaw something alive\u201d and \u201cmoving\u201d<\/a> beneath the skin of her face.<\/p>\n Glanville previously said she had a \u201cfungal ball\u201d in her face. PETE DADDS \/ FOX<\/p>\n \u201cIf I don\u2019t find a doctor to cut this out of my face, I\u2019m just going to do it myself,\u201d she said in the Reel at the time.<\/p>\n Glanville first blamed Bravo for her facial disfigurement<\/a> in 2024, later claiming doctors suspected a \u201cparasite that jumps around [her] face,\u201d<\/a> while others attributed her symptoms to \u201cstress-induced edema.\u201d<\/p>\n In February, she instead blamed her 20-year-old breast implants<\/a> \u2014 which she said had \u201cruptured\u201d and \u201cleak[ed] silicone into her lymph nodes\u201d \u2014 for her ongoing health struggles.<\/p>\n Glanville later revealed she had been diagnosed with a benign facial tumor<\/a> \u201cin one of [her] lymph nodes in [her] face.\u201d<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t
