Kompany was on the bench for the Arsenal game despite the viral infection.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-1s160rg\">Bayern said on their website: \u201cVincent Kompany required medical \u2060attention after collapsing during a training session for \u200bBayern\u2019s reserve team. The \u200chead coach of the professional squad had been observing \u200cthe second team\u2019s session.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-1s160rg\">\u201cKompany is currently undergoing a thorough examination in the hospital and will remain under medical care. For the time being, his coaching staff will manage all training \u200cand match-related operations.\u201c<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-1s160rg\">Max Eberl, Bayern\u2019s sporting director, said: \u201cVincent Kompany\u2019s health is our top priority. At Bayern, we will do everything \u200bwe \u200bcan to ensure he \u200bmakes a speedy recovery.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dcr-1s160rg\">\u201cVinnie is receiving \u200ball the \u200cnecessary medical care \u200band \u200bsupport, and he will be given as much time as he needs.
