Today marks the official start of shipping for the iPhone Duo, but unless you pre-ordered one, you will have to wait a while for a unit to become available. While you wait, you can have a look at what Samsung has to offer.

The Galaxy is thinner (9.7mm vs. 11.3mm) and much lighter (201g vs. 254g) while offering a similar cover display (5.5” vs. 5.4”) and inner display (both 7.6” with similar aspect ratios). They have nearly identical battery capacities too (4,800mAh vs. 4,883mAh), so endurance will depend on chipset efficiency – it’s a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for the Galaxy and an Apple A20 Pro for the Duo. Samsung also has a larger book-style foldable, the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra. Here is a detailed comparison between the Z Fold8 and the Z Fold8 Ultra. We also have a video that pits the two Z phones against each other.
