He thought his football career would be over, before it even got started.<\/p>\n<p>During his Friday press conference, he was asked about Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts, who is currently dealing with blood clots in his lungs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYeah, honestly, <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/_f5LrvJSO0U?si=ffWjJcBBg1nBdnMk&amp;t=288\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">just stay positive<\/a>,\u201d Walker said. \u201cYou know, obviously, I guess you know about what happened in high school, like, with the blood clots and everything. \u2029And he went on the flight, huh, and everything? Yeah, that\u2019s crazy. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou know, honestly, just stay positive, and, you know, do all the things necessary that he need to do, like, to get his body back right. But, yeah, I\u2019ll be praying for him, because that\u2019s not something, you know, we should take lightly.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Walker\u2019s reaction to the fact that Hurts flew to London and back again isn\u2019t uncommon. And with neither the Eagles nor the league providing any real clarity on how that came to be, everyone will have to wait for the results of the investigation requested by the NFL Players Association.<\/p>\n<p>If, of course, the results of that investigation are shared with the public.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Chiefs running back Kenneth Walker III dealt with blood clots in his lungs in high school.
