Match report: Aston Villa<\/a> 2-1 Man City<\/p>\n Manchester City have added a loss in the Premier League to the one to the Premier League, as their perfect on-pitch record vanished at Aston Villa. The two most in-form strikers in England did battle and it was Nicolas Jackson\u2019s double that meant his side come out on top against Erling Haaland.<\/p>\n City are certainly infallible, losing for the fourth time in a row here, and it was a reminder that life will not always be as simple as their first seven games. Mistakes cost them as Marc Gu\u00e9hi and Gianluigi Donnarumma played their part in Jackson\u2019s goals, which will give him greater pleasure as they ended Enzo Maresca\u2019s perfect start.<\/p>\n Share<\/a>Matty Cash\u2019s verdict<\/p>\n double quotation markAs a team I think we were amazing.
