Last night, Duke, Army and Stanford all picked up dramatic, tight wins.<\/p>\n
Duke wins on trick play<\/a><\/p>\n Blue Devils RB Nate Sheppard threw a 28-yard TD pass with a little more than 1 minute remaining to lift Duke (5-2 overall, 2-2 ACC) to a 19-16 win at Virginia.<\/p>\n Sheppard entered the game as the ACC’s top rusher, but the Virginia defense held him to only 55 yards on 15 carries. The Cavaliers (4-4, 2-3), however, couldn’t get the final stop as they lost for the third time in four games.<\/p>\n DOUBLE PASS FOR THE LEAD https:\/\/t.co\/BVNgxUQouk<\/p>\n \u2014 Duke Football (@DukeFOOTBALL) October 24, 2026<\/a><\/p>\n Army tops Tulsa on 50-yard FG<\/a><\/p>\n Dawson Jones’ 50-yard field goal on the last play of the game gave Army a 38-35 win at Tulsa.<\/p>\n The Black Knights (5-2 overall, 4-1 American) rushed for 275 yards and four touchdowns, led by Godspower Nwawuihe (135 yards, TD) and QB Cale Hellums’ 121 yards and three scores.<\/p>\n Jones had two long kicks on the day, as he kicked a career-long 51 yarder in the first quarter.
