BBC Newsbeat has been out in Manchester catching up with a few fans – and it’s fair to say the wind and rain is matching their mood.<\/p>\n
“We\u2019ve just been going down and down and down, and Manchester\u2019s weather sums up how Manchester United have been playing for the last few years,” says Chenai Masunungure.<\/p>\n
Chenai, 20, thinks the club hasn’t brought in enough “world-class or top-quality players” and thinks the blame needs to be split between the board and the players.<\/p>\n
“You can tell from who we\u2019ve brought in, there\u2019s not enough thinking put into it,” she says.<\/p>\n
“But then as well as that when you\u2019re watching them [the players] you can just see there\u2019s not enough intensity.”<\/p>\n
Rafael Millin Fialho agrees and says fans are “fed up constantly”.<\/p>\n
“It seems like the same cycle, constantly sacking managers and getting behind [them] and then sacking,” the 18-year-old adds.<\/p>\n

Rafael is fed up of seeing Manchester United managers get sacked<\/p>\n
The first season Rafael remembers is when David Moyes took over from Sir Alex Ferguson back in 2013, saying the squad he inherited “wasn’t good enough”.<\/p>\n
“From then onwards it\u2019s been a mix of not the right signings, wrong managers, I think the club\u2019s been going downhill and there\u2019s a toxic environment around the club at the minute,” he says.<\/p>\n
Rafael was at the game yesterday and admits he feels bad for Michael Carrick – but Chenai thinks he does need to be sacked.<\/p>\n
“As much as I love him as a person, he does need to go because I don\u2019t think he\u2019s up to the role enough,” she says.<\/p>\n
