Head coach Kyle Shanahan said on Monday that McCaffrey has a mild hamstring strain while confirming McCaffrey\u2019s belief that it <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcsports.com\/nfl\/profootballtalk\/rumor-mill\/news\/christian-mccaffrey-not-worried-about-thigh-injury-moving-forward\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">won\u2019t be an issue<\/a> when the team returns from their bye in Week 9.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYeah, we think so, with <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.49erswebzone.com\/articles\/204599-49ers-injury-update-brings-falcons\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">it just being that<\/a>,\u201d Shanahan said, via 49ersWebzone.com. \u201cI mean, you never know for sure, but we\u2019re pretty optimistic about it.
