Ultimately, Tyler Huntley took the field even though Jackson continues to practice. <\/p>\n<p class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-bp_small__body__article__medium mui-m06sf4\">&#8220;If I can just go out there and just be a statue and get hit, (there&#8217;s) no positives in that,&#8221; Jackson <a class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-inherit MuiLink-root MuiLink-underlineAlways MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-bp_small__ui__link__medium_strong mui-mlpnpn\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/athletic\/7726069\/2026\/10\/26\/ravens-lamar-jackson-injury-bengals\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">told reporters<\/a> on Friday. &#8220;That&#8217;s not helping my team at all. I feel like I&#8217;m being selfish because it&#8217;s about me at that point, you know, getting out there and being hurt. That&#8217;s dumb.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>A stationary Jackson certainly isn&#8217;t the best version of the dual-threat quarterback. However, Huntley&#8217;s level of performance declined over the last two weeks, which led, in part, to the Ravens&#8217; current two-game losing streak. <\/p>\n<p>Obviously, Huntley had nothing to do with Baltimore&#8217;s second-half defensive collapse.
