Connor McCaffery used to play<\/a> guard for the Iowa Hawkeyes, which was also Caitlin Clark\u2019s team. The two met at the school and have been together for over two years now, with Clark being one of the most popular players in the WNBA today, while McCaffery is now pursuing coaching now that his playing career is done.<\/p>\n

He is the son of former Iowa head coach and current Penn State head coach Fran McCaffery, which means that he has plenty to live up to in his family. He played in 166 games for the Hawkeyes, winning 111 of them.<\/p>\n

As she did this, it was McCaffery who reportedly helped in gathering the shoe sizes of the players. McCaffrey noted that his girlfriend wanted his team to do well, and she also wants to see the teams in Indianapolis do well too. As for the shoes, they were reportedly in a colorway that featured the Indiana Fever red and white, which is a nod to her embracing the community in Indianapolis.<\/p>\n
