The FBI targeted Cloobeck’s Beverly Hills mansion in connection with an investigation into disgraced former Rep. Eric Swalwell, D-Calif. Swalwell resigned from Congress<\/a> and withdrew from the California gubernatorial race earlier this year after facing multiple accusations of sexual misconduct.<\/p>\n Law enforcement executed the raid at roughly 6 a.m. local time with at least two dozen agents participating. Authorities searched the massive property for several hours but offered no details about what they found.<\/p>\n Several people were taken out of the house in handcuffs, but they were all released soon after. (Win McNamee\/Getty Images)<\/p>\n Cloobeck is a longtime supporter of Swalwell’s political campaigns.<\/p>\n In August, the FBI searched Swalwell’s D.C. home and seized his electronic devices at San Francisco International Airport during an operation. The operation was\u00a0related to a probe into sexual misconduct, according to sources familiar with the incident.
