\n President Donald Trump spent his opening remarks at his Wednesday rally in Chillicothe, Ohio reflecting on the physical attributes of Sen. Jon Husted, grousing over media coverage of his comments from the trail as he again spoke admiringly of the incumbent Republican.\n <\/p>\n
\n \u201cI was examining that man for his physical prowess, and I got it \u2014 when he stood up, I looked at him, I looked him all over the place, and I should have never said what I said, but I said I started by looking at his ass, and it was strong as hell,\u201d Trump said. \u201cAnd the problem is the fake news \u2026 they said, \u2018I looked at his ass,\u2019 and they cut. And then they, all night long, they say, \u2018Why did he say that?\u2019 In other words, they just went cut, and it didn\u2019t look good for me.\u201d\n <\/p>\n
\n Trump has seemed preoccupied with Husted\u2019s physical appearance since campaigning for the Ohio senator during a rally in Ohio earlier this month. During that rally, he told supporters he hadn\u2019t noticed Husted\u2019s appearance until former NFL Coach Jon Gruden told him Husted played football in college.\n <\/p>\n
\n \u201cHe was an All-American football player, and when Jon Gruden said he was the best player on the team \u2014 and I think they were, like, a championship team, a great team,\u201d the president said. \u201cAnd I don\u2019t do this with men very often. I started examining his body, because I didn\u2019t know he was a great athlete.\u201d\n <\/p>\n
