\n\tOn Wednesday night\u2019s episode of \u201cThe Tonight Show<\/a>,\u201d host Jimmy Fallon<\/a> gave his best Nathan Fielder impression while guest Jamie Lee Curtis played Elizabeth Holmes to spoof A24\u2019s buzzy documentary<\/a>, \u201cYou Can See Everything<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cNow, be honest. Do you really want to be on the show tonight?\u201d asks Fallon, doing his best Fielder impression. \u201cOf course I do. I love talking to you,\u201d responded Curtis with her best Holmes-like voice while donning a blonde wig and looking deeply into the late-night host\u2019s eyes. \u201cSo, you\u2019re not just here to promote your new show. \u2018Newlyweds\u2019?\u201d \u201cNo, I\u2019m engaging with you as a human being,\u201d said Curtis. \u201cWhy would I deceive you? There\u2019s no reason for me to do that. There\u2019s nothing for me to deceive you on.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cGood chat,\u201d concluded Fallon, but not before one last question: \u201cYou\u2019re being real right now?\u201d \u201cI\u2019m always being real,\u201d responded Curtis. As Fallon leaves, she yells, \u201cThank God! Fuck, what an asshole!\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAs mentioned in the cold open, Curtis was on the show to promote \u201cNewlyweds,\u201d her new NBC sitcom that premiered on Oct. 23. The logline for the show, starring T\u00e9a Leoni and Tim Daly, describes it as \u201ca later-in-life love story about a free-spirited woman and a buttoned-up professor who marry impetuously after a whirlwind courtship.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tCurtis will appear on the show in a recurring guest star role, and also co-created it with Gail Lerner, who was fired<\/a> from the show earlier this month for \u201ccreative differences.\u201d In Lerner\u2019s statement when the news broke, she described the experience working on the show as \u201cthe most joyous TV experience of my life.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cYou Can See Everything,\u201d which debuted in theaters earlier this month on Oct. 16, has been a hit both critically and at the box office, where it\u2019s already grossed $45.1 million domestically to date. Fielder and co-director Lance Oppenheim quietly worked on the movie for more than three years, which offers an unhinged look at the Theranos founder a month before she began an 11-year prison sentence for defrauding investors.<\/p>\n
