Two days after announcing that he would visit Kansas again, President Donald Trump’s return trip to the Sunflower State has been scrapped. <\/p>\n

Trump was scheduled to hold a rally in Salina, Kansas, on Saturday, Oct. 31 at the Salina Regional Airport.<\/p>\n

The Salina Regional Airport Authority confirmed to KMBC 9 News on Thursday that the visit has been canceled. <\/p>\n

A spokesperson for the organization said the Trump Administration has canceled all Kansas events for Saturday. <\/p>\n

No reason for the cancellation was provided. <\/p>\n

This was scheduled to be his second trip to the state in less than two weeks<\/a> as Republicans make one last push to keep Kansas’ U.S. Senate seat in GOP hands.<\/p>\n

Republican Sen. Roger Marshall is in a tight race against Democrat Adam Hamilton<\/a>, drawing national attention to a state that has traditionally been a Republican stronghold<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Trump was just in the Wichita area on Oct. 19, where he rallied supporters behind Marshall<\/a>.<\/p>\n
