The Sixers added Jaylen Brown to their injury report Thursday night ahead of a second matchup with the defending champion Knicks.<\/p>\n

The team listed Brown as questionable with left knee soreness for Friday night\u2019s contest at Xfinity Mobile Arena. The game will be the Sixers\u2019 first of four in East Group B of the 2026 NBA Cup.<\/a><\/p>\n

Brown played in all of the 4-1 Sixers\u2019 first five games and averaged 36.3 minutes, which ranked fourth in the NBA as of early Thursday evening.<\/a> He\u2019s posted 20.6 points, 6.6 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Dominick Barlow (lower back stress reaction), Jabari Walker (left knee patellar tendinopathy), Tacko Fall (left quadriceps strain) and Ariel Hukporti (right Achilles tendon tear) were all still listed as out.\u00a0<\/p>\n

For the first leg of the Sixers\u2019 back-to-back, neither Joel Embiid nor LeBron James appeared on the team\u2019s injury report. The two stars had split injury management nights on the Sixers\u2019 back-to-back<\/a> last weekend. <\/a>The Sixers will head to Charlotte on Saturday to play the Hornets.\u00a0<\/p>\n
