Kansas City Chiefs<\/a> quarterback Patrick Mahomes<\/a> is looking to bounce back with a statement win in Week 8 after one of the worst games of his career.<\/p>\n

While the three-time Super Bowl MVP has a lot of work to do to prepare for the Denver Broncos<\/a> on Sunday, he also needed to get in gear at home.<\/p>\n

Before defeating the Chargers<\/a> in Week 6, Mahomes admitted that Halloween completely slipped his mind. Between making sure his knee is right after suffering an ACL tear last December and checking in on how other teams are doing during the bye \u2014 he forgot.<\/p>\n

Mahomes and his wife, Brittany Mahomes, have three kids \u2014 Sterling, 5, Bronze, 3, and Golden, 21 months.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt surprised me. I forgot about Halloween,\u201d Mahomes said. \u201cBrittany was like what are gonna be for Halloween and I\u2019m like, I didn\u2019t even think about that. I\u2019m so locked in on this week and the season and stuff.\u201d<\/p>\n

Luckily, Brittany is taking care of it. When asked what the family plans to be, \u201cI can\u2019t tell now,\u201d Mahomes said. \u201cThere\u2019s options because you never know with kids, so we have multiple options. I don\u2019t even know yet. I just know a couple of the options.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Mahomes Family Dressed Up as \u2018Toy Story\u2019 Characters With a Tribute to Taylor Swift<\/p>\n

Brittany came through because the Mahomes family looked amazing on October 31. Mahomes dressed as Buzz Lightyear, Brittany as Jessie, Bronze as Woody, and Golden as the alien. Sterling fit into the toy theme by dressing up as Barbie.<\/p>\n

The Kansas City Current co-owner posted the family photos on Instagram with Taylor Swift\u2019s \u201cI Knew It, I Knew You,\u201d as the background track. Swift released the record-breaking single as part of the film\u2019s soundtrack in June. Mahomes and Brittany attended Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce\u2019s and Swift\u2019s wedding a month later<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Fans absolutely loved the Mahomes\u2019 family Halloween post. One fan commented on Instagram, \u201cOh my gosh mom! They are so stinking cute! Just look at all that sass Sterling has\ud83d\ude02 And you, Patrick, Bronze, and Golden, absolutely nailed it\ud83d\ude4c have FUN\u2764\ufe0f.\u201d Another person wrote, \u201cSter girl stole the show!!! Love each and every one!! Happy Halloweeen!! \u2764\ufe0f\u201d<\/p>\n

Patrick Mahomes Credited His Wife, Brittany Mahomes, For Holding Down the Family During His Rehab<\/p>\n

Speaking with Mitch Holthus on \u201cThe Chiefs Kingdom Show\u201d at Arrowhead earlier this month, Mahomes gushed over how Brittany did triple duty at home while recovering from surgery.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think that that was something that\u2019s huge for me<\/a> because, she had being a mom to three, I mean, she had to kind of take on that role on even more because I wasn\u2019t at the house. I was spending seven hours a day over there in the offseason when we\u2019re supposed to be on vacation or back home in Texas,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a full commitment from the full family, and I think she did a great job of kind of being that leader of the household when I was having to be in the rehab facility.\u201d<\/p>\n

Brittany shared a clip of Mahomes comments on her Instagram Stories and replied, \u201cWould do anything for my babies and my husband \ud83e\udd79\ud83e\udef6\ud83c\udffb.\u201d<\/p>\n
