The watch includes Bailey, Parmer, Castro counties until 2 a.m. Monday. Severe storms are possible in those areas through early Monday morning.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"figure-img img-fluid mx-auto d-block\" fetchpriority=\"low\" loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"A Tornado Watch has been issued for the northwest South Plains\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/11\/GO45KOJVMBH6HMQXFXSO6OWRSU.png\" width=\"980\" height=\"566\" \/>A Tornado Watch has been issued for the northwest South Plains(John robison)<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Storms will develop and move northeast and may produce strong winds, large hail and possible tornado development.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Storms will move out of the area early Monday morning.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Isolated severe storms may return to portions of the South Plains later tonight. The strongest storms are indicated to be in the northwest South Plains extending into the Panhandle region. Isolated severe storms could occur in the area from Tulia south to Plainview to Levelland and southwest to Plains.
