I had to pull over and wait at a curb for a while, just sweating,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
During an appearance on the \u201cNepo, Baby!\u201d podcast, Matthew Broderick (pictured above) claimed he may have been the \u201cvictim\u201d of the \u201clongest meeting ever\u201d with Warren Beatty ahead of filming \u201cRules Don\u2019t Apply.\u201d Nepo, Baby!\/YouTube<\/p>\n

The \u201cFerris Bueller\u2019s Day Off\u201d actor said Beatty was wearing a white shirt and white pants when he first met him at the house, adding that he \u201clooked like Warren Beaty.\u201d<\/p>\n
He also noticed burn marks on the filmmaker\u2019s face from having things burned off ahead of filming, which he said was \u201cgood\u201d because he \u201clooked more human.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWe had a really good dinner. We didn\u2019t talk about the movie for a long time. Then he gave me the script, \u2026 and I was put in a room to read it,\u201d Broderick said.<\/p>\n

He went on to explain that by the time he finished reading the script, it was already late, and after discussing the movie, Beatty offered to let him stay the night when he said it was time to head back to his hotel.<\/p>\n
The \u201cLion King\u201d star said he was \u201ccreeping\u201d around the house the following morning, hoping to quietly slip out, when he ran into Beatty making oatmeal in the kitchen.<\/p>\n
Broderick then tried to use going to the gym as an excuse to leave, only for Beatty to point out that they had a gym at the house.<\/p>\n

\u201cRules Don\u2019t Apply\u201d was directed and co-written by Beatty, who also starred in the film alongside Broderick, Lily Collins and Alden Ehrenreich.<\/p>\n

Notably, the cast also included Beatty\u2019s wife, Annette Bening, whom he married in 1992 and with whom he shares four children.<\/p>\n
Broderick, for his part, tied the knot with Sarah Jessica Parker in May 1997 in a surprise ceremony at a Manhattan synagogue.<\/p>\n
