A well-known Lifetime actress was bit in the face by a dog named Scruffy while protecting her French bulldog at a Los Angeles area dog park<\/a>, causing permanent disfigurement that cost her work, a new lawsuit alleges.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Natasha Wilson \u2014 who\u2019s appeared in TV movies such as \u201cThe Best Version of Love\u201d and \u201cSingle and Ready to Jingle\u201d \u2014 found herself in a real-life horror scene<\/a> after she encountered a vicious canine in the West Hollywood Dog Park, the suit alleges.<\/p>\n

Wilson claims she was walking her beloved bulldog<\/a> around 9:40 p.m. on Nov. 7, 2024, when she came across defendant Gregory Marcel and his dog Scruffy.<\/p>\n

Scruffy approached the actress\u2019 pooch \u201cand stood over it in an aggressive and dominant posture,\u201d the suit claims.<\/p>\n

Wilson picked up her French bulldog, but Scuffy then jumped on the actress and she lost hold of her hound, according to the filing.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cScruffy continued to attack, while Wilson was on the ground attempting to shield her dog with her body and hands,\u201d the suit reads.<\/p>\n

\u201cDuring the attack Scruffy bit Wilson on the face, above her right eyebrow, causing a laceration and bleeding,\u201d it alleges.<\/p>\n

Wilson went to the emergency room at Cedars Sinai with Marcel, where she received stitches and prescribed antibiotics, according to the lawsuit.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cAs a result of the incident, Wilson suffered a laceration above her right eyebrow requiring sutures and has been left with a permanent, visible, and painful scar, an altered eyebrow, hair pattern, and impaired movement of the right brow,\u201d the suit reads.<\/p>\n

The actress has been advised that she requires scar revision surgery and additional treatment, according to the papers.<\/p>\n

\u201cWilson was prevented from attending her usual occupation and thereby sustained a loss of earnings and an impairment of her earning capacity,\u201d the suit says.<\/p>\n

The actress is seeking economic damages, including medical expenses, wage loss, and loss of earnings capacity.<\/p>\n
