Linebackers coach Ernie Sims was elevated to the position of interim defensive coordinator.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1upudxki _174s0un1 _174s0un0 _1mt21p01\">Pasqualoni has been coaching on some level since 1972, serving as the head coach at Syracuse for 14 years and as an NFL assistant for 11 years, also holding the head coach position at UConn for parts of three seasons.
