\n\tThe BBC<\/a>\u2018s Ozzy Osbourne<\/a> documentary has been removed from the schedules hours before it was due to air.<\/p>\n

\n\tOzzy Osbourne:\u00a0Coming Home\u00a0was supposed to launch on BBC One tonight, charting the last chapter of the late Black Sabbath founder\u2019s life, with contribution from wife Sharon and children Jack and Kelly.<\/p>\n

\n\tWith mere hours to go until Coming Home was due to land, it was removed from the schedules, a BBC spokeswoman confirmed.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThe film has moved in the schedules and we\u2019ll confirm new TX details in due course,\u201d said a spokeswoman.<\/p>\n

\n\tIt is unclear at this point why the doc has been pushed back. We are told it will definitely air but no TX date has been set. We understand there may have been some final tweaks made to the show or the BBC may have wanted there to be more time between Osbourne\u2019s death and the documentary airing.<\/p>\n

\n\tOsbourne died on July 22<\/a> just two weeks after he reunited with Black Sabbath for one final concert.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe journey of Coming Home has been a long one. Initially titled Home to Roost and produced by Clarkson\u2019s Farm maker Expectation<\/a>, the show was forged as a spiritual successor to MTV\u2019s anarchic mid-noughties series\u00a0The Osbournes, focusing on the family\u2019s return home to the UK.<\/p>\n

\n\tIt was announced in 2022 but was delayed <\/a>when Osbourne became ill and was then turned from a series into a feature documentary when he died. Expectation is understood to have filmed with the family for a number of months.
