LAKE CITY, Fla. (WCJB) – Florida Congressman Cory Mills appeared in Columbia County Circuit Court on Monday via video conference as a defendant in the injunction request filed by Miss United States pageant winner Lindsey Langston.<\/p>\n
Langston says the two began dating in November 2021. She claims once the relationship ended, Mills threatened to release sexually explicit images and videos of Langston, prompting her to file a criminal complaint with the sheriff\u2019s office.<\/p>\n
Langston also alleges the congressman threatened to harm any men she planned to date and send them her videos. This month, she filed an injunction for protection against dating violence.<\/p>\n
At the hearing, both parties\u2019 legal teams asked for more time to present evidence, and a continuance was issued for another hearing on a yet-to-be-determined date. <\/p>\n

Cory Mills accused of threatening to release intimate videos after breakup with Miss United States<\/a><\/p>\n Florida law prohibits the sharing of intimate photos or videos with the intent of causing emotional distress -commonly referred to as \u201crevenge porn.\u201d<\/p>\n Langston has filed a criminal complaint<\/a> with the Columbia County Sheriff\u2019s Office. The investigation was then handed over<\/a> to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE). No charges have been filed against Mills as of this report.<\/p>\n
