Steven McBee Jr.<\/a> and Calah Jackson<\/a>\u2019s on-and-off-again relationship<\/a> hit yet another curve when the couple met for coffee during Season 2, Episode 8 of\u00a0The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys<\/a>. The two sat down for a possible reconciliation, despite another split after a dramatic trip to the Ozarks<\/a>. \u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cThe definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results,\u201d Steven declared in the August 18 episode. \u201cWell, here I am. Doing the exact same thing, and hoping for a different result.\u201d<\/p>\n He beamed a big smile as Calah walked into the coffee shop, and the two embraced, before sitting down to talk.<\/p>\n \u201cThe last few weeks, obviously I\u2019ve had a lot of time on my hands at night, and I think that I realized some things,\u201d Steven told her.\u00a0<\/p>\n He apologized for how he spoke to her during the McBee family\u2019s Ozarks vacation.<\/p>\n \u201cWith as stressed out as I\u2019ve been, I\u2019ve put a lot of the blame on you, when I\u2019m realizing that it wasn\u2019t you,\u201d he added. \u201cLike no matter what happens or how I\u2019m feeling, there\u2019s never ever an excuse for me to lose control like that, and I\u2019m sorry for that.\u201d<\/p>\n Steven\u2019s been frank about his conflicted feelings since splitting with Calah<\/a>, calling it \u201chard as hell\u201d for him in Episode 7, and admitted he\u2019s not ready to give Calah up.<\/p>\n \u201cObviously, she\u2019s gorgeous,\u201d he said in the August 18 episode. \u201cHonestly, I melt. I am completely weak whenever she looks this damn good. And yeah, we\u2019ve been through some sh\u2014t together, but you know, this is my best friend.\u201d<\/p>\n Calah was taken aback by Steven\u2019s apology, and asked: \u201cWhere was this three weeks ago?\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI think with a little bit of space and a little bit of alone time, you get a clearer head,\u201d Steven explained.\u00a0<\/p>\n Calah accepted his words, and replied, \u201cIt does mean a lot that you just said that.\u201d<\/p>\n Steven McBee Jr. asks Calah Jackson to attend Jesse’s wedding as his date<\/p>\n After floating the idea of a reconciliation, Steven shared his desire for Calah to be his date to his brother Jesse McBee\u2019s wedding to Alli Ventresca<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t know. It\u2019s still such an uncomfortable situation,\u201d Calah admitted, and shared that her \u201cconcern\u201d was being around the McBee family. Viewers will recall Steven\u2019s mother, Kristi McBee<\/a>, has been open in the past about her negative feelings for Calah<\/a>. Steven\u2019s brother, Cole McBee<\/a>, also got into a shouting match with Calah in the Ozarks<\/a> in Episode 5, telling her \u201cYou wouldn\u2019t be [anywhere] without [Steven].\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n All of this was weighing on Calah as she spoke to Steven in the August 18 episode.<\/p>\n \u201cYeah, I see it from your perspective,\u201d Steven admitted. \u201cI just think if you were to come to the wedding, we could just have a good time. Just stress-free.\u201d<\/p>\n Steven continued to try and convince Calah to join him for the nuptuals.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cI know that you love getting dressed up,\u201d he told her. \u201cI don\u2019t ever get to dress up. I just don\u2019t want anymore drama,\u201d she confessed.<\/p>\n Cole McBee apologizes to Calah Jackson for their explosive Ozarks argument<\/p>\n Cole and Calah got into a blow-out argument<\/a> during Episode 5 that ended with Calah leaving the vacation in the Ozarks early and ultimately splitting with Steven again. Cole was upset that Calah \u201ctalk[s] sh\u2014t\u201d about Steven \u201call the time,\u201d and added it \u201cpisses me the f\u2014k off.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n But three weeks later, Cole decided to apologize for his words in the August 18 episode.<\/p>\n \u201cI definitely have been feeling embarrassed. I know I said some things that are pretty hard to come back from,\u201d he told Calah, and later added, \u201cI don\u2019t expect you to forgive me. I just want you to know that I am very sorry about what I said and the things I said. But, I do appreciate the apology. It means a lot.\u201d<\/p>\n Cole admitted that he hoped his apology would help Steven and Calah\u2019s uncertain relationship.<\/p>\n \u201cI want everybody to be happy. I feel bad that I got involved in you guys\u2019 relationship,” he told them. “I know how it is whenever me and Kacie [Adkison]<\/a> are in our relationship and people got involved and it makes it ten times harder to figure anything out.
