NASCAR Cup Series legend Kevin Harvick<\/a> has publicly disagreed with Kyle Larson<\/a> over the box office smash movie \u2018Talladega Nights\u2019.
<\/p>\n \nDuring a recent podcast appearance, Larson claimed that \u2018The Ballad of Ricky Bobby\u2019 gave NASCAR a bad reputation<\/a> and turned the sport into a joke.
<\/p>\n \n\u201cI liked the movie. I think it did not do anything good for our sport. I think it turned our sport into like a joke, unfortunately,\u201d he said on Julian Edelman\u2019s Games With Names podcast.
<\/p>\n \n\u201cThat\u2019s gotta be one of the most popular racing movies. But I feel like the rest of the world, that\u2019s what they think of our sport now.\u201d
<\/p>\n \nHowever, addressing Larson’s comments on the movie, former Cup Series champion Harvick disagreed with the Hendrick Motorsports star, making his opinion clear on his Happy Hour show<\/a>.
<\/p>\n \n\u201cI thought it was hilarious. I liked it,\u201d Harvick explained.
<\/p>\n \nHarvick’s co-host, Mamba Smith, then added: \u201cI think that it\u2019s time for us to have another serious movie. Days of Thunder 2 would be nice.\u201d
<\/p>\n \nHarvick, however, suggested a sequel to Talladega Nights: \u201cTalladega Nights 2,”
<\/p>\n \n“I know where we could re-enact the scene,\u201d Harvick continued, where it later transpired he was moving into the actual house that Ricky Bobby [Will Ferrell] lived in the movie.
