{"id":94399,"date":"2025-08-19T13:32:07","date_gmt":"2025-08-19T13:32:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/94399\/"},"modified":"2025-08-19T13:32:07","modified_gmt":"2025-08-19T13:32:07","slug":"approved-free-internet-hotspots-available-for-qualifying-durham-residents-wral-com","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/94399\/","title":{"rendered":"Approved free internet hotspots available for qualifying Durham residents :: WRAL.com"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Durham City Council has approved <a href=\"https:\/\/www.durhamnc.gov\/5397\/MiFi-Distribution\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">a new Wi-Fi program called MiFi<\/a>, which\u00a0gives certain people internet hot spots for free.<\/p>\n<p>The program, a collaboration between the city and the county, is designated for people who struggle to afford internet.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.durhamnc.gov\/5397\/MiFi-Distribution\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Applications are available online<\/a>\u00a0in Spanish and English.
