This position requires an employee to work onsite at 400 Wabasha Street North, St Paul, Minnesota at least 50% of their scheduled work days, with some opportunity to perform work from a telework location.<\/p>\n
Telework <\/a>is available on a limited basis. We\u2019re a mission-focused financial institution looking for a Legal Operations Manager to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of legal operations at the Agency. This candidate will handle the logistical, financial and administrative aspects of the Legal team. Such duties include managing legal technology, working with vendors, overseeing budgets, and drafting and improving internal processes. The candidate will also work with the General Counsel to process and make recommendations on conflicts of interest. The Legal Operations Manager will, in conjunction with other Legal team members, work on Agency documents to ensure consistency in process and procedure for internal and external stakeholders. The candidate will provide administrative support for Legal team related to contracting, rulemaking, and data practices to ensure legal compliance at the Minnesota Housing.<\/p>\n Essential Job Duties<\/p>\n Manages legal technology and working with vendors. Demonstrated communication skills, including ability to comprehend and communicate complex legal information in plain language to non-legal staff.<\/p>\n Preferred Qualifications<\/p>\n Experience in legal technology and operations (e.g., Everlaw). Experience in developing, implementing, and monitoring compliance with policies and procedures.
