TUSCALOOSA, Ala. \u2013\u00a0The Alabama men’s basketball team finalized its 2025-26 schedule as head coach Nate Oats<\/a> announced the non-conference slate. The season will tip off on Nov. 3 as the Crimson Tide will face off against North Dakota inside Coleman Coliseum.<\/p>\n

Alabama’s non-conference matchups include six home games, headlined by a marquee matchup against Purdue (Nov. 13). On the road, the Tide will travel to Las Vegas, New York and Chicago within the first month of the season, facing off against three opponents who played in the 2025 NCAA Tournament including Gonzaga, Illinois and St. John’s.<\/p>\n

2025-26 Schedule Highlights<\/p>\n


\n\tOf the 13 games during Alabama’s non-conference schedule, the Tide will match up against seven opponents who played in the NCAA Tournament last season, including Purdue and Arizona who both reached the Sweet 16
\n\tFive of Alabama’s non-conference opponents were ranked in ESPN’s Way-Too-Early Top 25, featuring No. 1 Purdue, No. 5 St. John’s, No. 13 Arizona, No. 16 Illinois and No. 19 Gonzaga\u00a0
\n\tHead Coach Nate Oats<\/a> will face off against two of the winningest coaches in college basketball history in Rick Pitino of St. John’s (885 wins, ranks No. 5 all-time) and Mark Few of Gonzaga (742 wins, ranks No. 22 all-time)
\n\tThe Crimson Tide will match up against three conference champions from last season in St. John’s (Big East), Gonzaga (WCC) and Yale (Ivy League)
\n\tOats will be coaching against three of his former assistant coaches, including Austin Claunch (UTSA), Bryan Hodgson (South Florida) and Antoine Pettway (Kennesaw State)
\n\tAlabama will play in six neutral site games, including two in-state with the C.M. Newton Classic in Birmingham against Arizona on Dec. 13 and a Dec. 21 matchup against Kennesaw State in Huntsville
\n\tFor the second straight season, the Crimson Tide will travel to Las Vegas to play in the Players Era Festival during Thanksgiving week, playing Gonzaga in the first game and UNLV for the second contest
