In a recent YouTube video, aired on August 18, 2025, he shared his intense leg workout to sculpt stronger hamstrings, quads, and glutes for his Olympia return. Walker also gave an update on his mentality heading into October.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The world began to doubt <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/nick-walker-bodybuilder-profile\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Nick Walker<\/a> following his back-to-back withdrawals from the Mr. Olympia contest in 2023 and 2024. He slowly built his physique back up and made his return at the <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/2025-pittsburgh-pro-results\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">2025 Pittsburgh Pro<\/a>. He went toe-to-toe against Derek Lunsford but placed second after a tie-breaker, sudden-death round.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>To earn his ticket to the Mr. Olympia, Walker won the<a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/2025-new-york-pro-results\/#:~:text=Check%20out%20the%20winners%20of%20the%202025%20New,Michal%20Krizanek%2C%20who%20rounded%20out%20the%20top%20three.\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"> New York Pro<\/a> a week later, cementing himself as a three-time champion. If you\u2019re my boy, not that I think what I\u2019m doing is more important, but you know where I\u2019m at. If you don\u2019t get it, then you\u2019re not \u2014 you can go. I\u2019ve been this way since I started competing when I was 17.<\/p>\n<p>Even before, because I just made it my sole mission to be the best, and I knew what it took. I think there can be a certain balance per se, but if you want to be number one\u2026 there\u2019s zero,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=XI5iKw3vNwI&amp;t=1241s\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">shared<\/a> Walker.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>He also updated fans on his prep for the Olympia, revealing that his weight is currently at 289 pounds. He\u2019s sticking with 400 grams of daily carbs along with fasted cardio for 30 minutes.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201c289 [was my weight this morning],\u201d shared Walker. \u201cKyle just decreased my food a little bit, we\u2019ll see how that goes. Still get about 400 grams of carbs a day.<\/p>\n<p>I just walk [post-workout], I do fasted [cardio] up to 30 minutes. I\u2019m not going to lose size. I got to be more peeled than I was in New York. I was good but I got to be better.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>He also touched on his gut health and knowing when to remove something from his prep that isn\u2019t producing results:\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m at a point in my career where I have my size, I have everything I need. If something is not making me feel good, whatever the benefit it may have, I don\u2019t care. I want to feel good.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Walker\u2019s rivalry with Lunsford has only grown since their last onstage battle. Lunsford shared that Walker should\u2019ve thanked him for the defeat in Pittsburgh. In response, \u201cThe Mutant\u201d explained that <a href=\"https:\/\/fitnessvolt.com\/nick-walker-talks-derek-lunsford-rivalry-2025-olympia\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Lunsford was \u2018scared shitless\u2019<\/a> and knows \u2018what\u2019s about to happen\u2019 on the Mr. Olympia stage.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Walker is making sure his legs aren\u2019t a weak point when he steps back into the limelight.
