Tottenham Hotspur look set to miss out on the signing of Manchester City winger Savinho.<\/p>\n

Thomas Frank<\/a> is looking to make a high-profile addition at left wing following the departure of Son Heung-min to LAFC<\/a> earlier this summer.<\/p>\n

Pep Guardiola has blocked Savinho\u2019s move to Tottenham<\/a>, and the winger has been informed that he is staying at Manchester City this summer.<\/p>\n

Spurs are now having to look elsewhere for an alternative option, and their attention has turned to AS Monaco for their latest left-wing target.<\/p>\n

Maghnes Akliouche<\/a> has emerged as an alternative option to Savinho<\/a> on Spurs\u2019 list of left wing targets, according to the Independent<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The report claims that the French winger would cost around \u00a345m, which is considerably less than the \u00a360m plus Manchester City wanted for their Brazilian.<\/p>\n

Last season, the 23-year-old announced himself as one of the hottest talents in France, with an impressive campaign in the French principality.<\/p>\n

The French youth international managed seven goals and 12 assists for Monaco, as he helped them to finish third in Ligue 1 and to reach the knockout stages of the Champions League.<\/p>\n

But, whilst the French youth international can play on the left and through the middle, his best performances have come from the right wing.<\/p>\n

The youngster played every game on the right during the 2024\/25 season, a position in which Spurs now have Mohammed Kudus<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Ghanaian has looked superb playing there, and with Eberechi Eze set to join Tottenham<\/a> to play in the number ten, it is clear that only a natural left-sided player is required.<\/p>\n

Akliouche is a really exciting talent, but he might not be the best fit for what Spurs are looking to add to their squad in the final 12 days of the window.<\/p>\n

Tottenham should turn their attention away from Maghnes Akliouche<\/p>\n

Ademola Lookman could be a superb fit for the left side of Tottenham\u2019s attack, with the winger having produced 27 goal contributions last season.<\/p>\n

TBR Football understands that Tottenham have been offered Lookman<\/a> after his move to Inter Milan fell apart, as they were unwilling to pay over \u00a343m for the Nigerian international.<\/p>\n

Karou Mitoma could be a strong option for the Lilywhites, but Spurs might struggle to reach an agreement to get him out of Brighton so late in the window.<\/p>\n

In February, TBR Football revealed that Mitoma wanted Champions League football<\/a>, and Spurs could offer him that chance.<\/p>\n
