Fils announced on Instagram a \u201cwarning sign\u201d he felt during his comeback match at the Canadian Open prompted his US Open withdrawal.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tennisexpress.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\" noreferrer noopener nofollow\"><img loading=\"lazy\" data-lazyloaded=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"610\" height=\"150\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/Pro-Player-Gear2.jpg\" alt=\"tennis express pro player gear\" class=\"wp-image-54540\"  data-\/><\/a>tennis express pro player gear<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAfter an injury that had kept me away from the courts, a warning sign felt during my comeback\u2014first in Toronto and then in Cincinnati\u2014led me to make the difficult but reasonable decision to withdraw from the US Open,\u201d Fils said in a statement on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/stories\/arthur.fils\/3702681900409803171\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/stories\/arthur.fils\/3702681900409803171\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Instagram Stories<\/a>. \u201cThis decision was made to allow for a full recovery. I\u2019m working hard every day with my team to come back strong and be ready for the end of the season.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Fils made a brief comeback in Toronto where he defeated Pablo Carreno Busta in his opener before bowing to Jiri Lehecka in round two.
