Enzo Maresca was without several players for Chelsea\u2019s 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace last Sunday.<\/p>\n

Levi Colwill, Tosin Adarabioyo<\/a>, Romeo Lavia, Benoit Badiashile and Nicolas Jackson were all unavailable for various reasons.<\/p>\n

Colwill will also miss Chelsea<\/a>\u2018s next game, with the defender expected to be out for most of the season because of an ACL injury. Chelsea are reluctant to sign a new centre-back<\/a> despite the 22-year-old being sidelined for such a long period.<\/p>\n

Maresca<\/a>, however, could be set to welcome back one of his other defenders in a potential boost for the Blues.<\/p>\n

Chelsea\u2019s next Premier League<\/a> fixture is against West Ham United, and Adarabioyo could be available for the London derby.<\/p>\n

The centre-half missed the Blues\u2019 draw with Palace because of an injury; however, Chelsea\u2019s official club website<\/a> posted a picture of him in training on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

It means that Adarabioyo could be ready for Chelsea\u2019s trip to the London Stadium this Friday.<\/p>\n

If not, Josh Acheampong could retain his place in the starting XI. Despite being brought in to provide cover for Marc Cucurella, Chelsea also see Jorrel Hato as a centre-back<\/a> option.<\/p>\n

The 19-year-old has played there for Ajax and is left-footed like Colwill so has the potential to slot into his spot.<\/p>\n

At one point, it looked like Adarabioyo was set for a spell on the sidelines. When Maresca gave an update on Adarabioyo\u2019s injury<\/a> after the Palace game, he said: \u201cTosin had a physical problem. We don\u2019t know for how long.\u201d<\/p>\n

Thankfully, though, the injury was not too serious, and it now looks like the 27-year-old could be back very soon.<\/p>\n

In the past, speaking in an interview for Chelsea\u2019s website<\/a>, Adarabioyo has described himself as a \u201ctop Premier League centre-half\u201d.<\/p>\n

If the former Fulham man is fit enough to start on Friday, he will have the chance to prove that.
