Never underestimate a hungry bear. If there is food around, they can and will find a way to get it. Just take the massive black bear<\/a> in this video, for instance.<\/p>\n

As this video shows, this black bear broke into this home and helped himself to several tasty snacks, making multiple trips in and out of the home before enjoying his spoils in front of the house. One could say that this black bear pulled off the ultimate snack heist<\/a>, LOL.<\/p>\n

A very hungry black bear in Southern California was recently caught on camera breaking into a home and getting away with the numerous snack food items.<\/p>\n

According to this video, the homeowner stated that while the bear did not do any significant damage to her house, the big, fluffy creature did manage to steal a lot of cookies and dog food from their residence.<\/p>\n

As this footage shows, there was nothing to stop this black bear from pulling off his snack heist like he was some sort of master burglar.<\/p>\n

And hey, this black bear may be a master thief, but at least he is also considerate; after all, he could have eaten all those snacks inside the house in a big mess, but he did not. He elected to eat them outside, which is very considerate.<\/p>\n

That makes him a gentleman in our book. Hey, if someone is going to break into our house and steal our snacks, we hope that they would be as considerate as this black bear, LOL.<\/p>\n

If this video has you ready to go black bear-proof your house to prevent one of these massive creatures from stealing your cookies and dog food, you might want to pump the brakes a bit.<\/p>\n

Bears breaking into people\u2019s homes remains relatively uncommon compared to other bear-human interactions<\/a>. With that being said, areas with a high concentration of bears that detect human food sources can certainly tempt these creatures.<\/p>\n

As such, it\u2019s best to take precautions like securing garbage in their resistant containers until it is collected and cleaning barbecue grills and properly storing them after they are used.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s also a good idea to make sure that all doors and windows are securely locked and to put round knobs on doors instead of levers, which are easier for bears to open.<\/p>\n
