A boxer has spoken about being taunted by strangers over developing after developing a square head from his injuries.
Linx, 23, who did not want to reveal his full name, claims his face ‘swelled up like a balloon’ after years of bare-knuckle fighting.Â
He says his unusual appearance means he gets stopped in the street by strangers who ask him if he’s got cancer.
Linx, who says he has been boxing since aged five, claims he had a normal shaped head until he reached 18.
He says he believes it is tissue damage from being repeatedly punched and thinks he will need surgery to return his head to its original shape.
Linx, from Shepherd’s Bush, West London, said: ‘I like to think it has made me look more attractive and that’s why people hate on me or be harsh.
‘My cheeks swelled after repeated trauma from punches – other than that it is a mystery as no one else in my bloodline has the the issue.
‘I’ve been told only plastic surgery or botox would treat it.

But each post also has hundreds of comments comparing him to Quagmire from Family Guy with hundreds commenting his catchphrase ‘Giggity Giggity’.
Linx said: ‘It is inevitable that my videos will blow up because of my appearance.
‘But I think people hate on me because I’m confident in a world where a lot of people don’t have it anymore.
‘They then just pray on people like me and try and bring us down.
‘When my cheeks first grew five years ago it was really tough but since posting on TikTok and the nasty comments, it sometimes becomes unbearable.
‘I have my down days but I try not to let it to get to me.
‘I have been given this for a reason.’
